About me
Christopher Meier Owner and Sole Instructor
It all started when my father Jim Meier opened our family’s driving school in 1978. I joined him in 2002 and taught for 20 years. Jim retired from his love of teaching after 44 years at the age of 74. We sold our driving school June of 2022, and I went into the corporate world to try something new. I quickly realized how much I love teaching and really missed giving driving lessons. That is when Safe Drivers Florida was born in December of 2022. I built this driving school around five principles:

I do not have any employees as I want to maintain the highest level of education and customer service possible. Know that when you contact me for driving lessons you will get the most consistent education because of this. There are no notes between multiple instructors or different teaching styles. Everything is to the highest standard and parents are welcome to ride along! I named the driving school Safe Drivers Florida, because that is what I produce, Safe Drivers!
